The good ones...still exist among us!

Holly shit!
Last post was back in 2014 J  Dam it, time is merciless and we definitely can’t fight it’s own rules…
2015 was so dynamic and intense that I couldn’t post anything. There were many topics around my mind but, lack of time to sit down and write it, was there as well.
My main occupation and time-eater in the last year was, of course my job = show organizing, booking bands for several festivals etc…
We had many great actions, many killer shows and in general somehow 2015 was totally alright.
Anyway, I’ve already wrote here about shows, bands and their attitudes toward their fans and us as organizers as well . Last year I had real luck to work only with real damn artists with big balls and down to the earth attitude. Ok, there was one shitty example but my rule here is, not even mention shitheads, not in negative way, not at all…They came and gone…they can…. You know…
So, last year was definitely marked with three perfect examples of what real metal legends are all about. These are Jeff Watters of Annihilator + his crew and Bobby Blitz of Overkill and his gang + Danny Lilker and almighty Nuclear Assault.

Man, these were the moments. Really, these guys made my day and more like, they made my months after the shows and even longer periods.
Why, how?
Well, it’s plain and simple. By strange coincidences I’ve never saw any of these legendary bands until now and, I had that luck to work with them same time when I will see their shows for the first time ever.
Yes, dreams came true and they came big time.
My expectations were huge, as well, you know these were heroes of my childhood and adolescence so what I expected was, at least the same what I wanted to see/hear back then in my very young years.
But, what I got was more, more than I expected.

Somehow, I even couldn’t believe that after all these years they stayed so openminded, so strong and so fucking ready to share their time and space with fans and people who respect them.
I simply must write these lines because these people deserve to get their names spread in positive words.
Yes, that’s normal and that’s how it should be, BUT in many other cases it’s not that way and musicians act as dickheads toward their fans and organizers.
That’s why we must mention the good ones, that’s why we must respect that and spread the words about them! Because nowadays, they are rare and unique.

Thanx  to all of them again, maybe they will never read these line,s but most important is that somebody else will… Horns Up!
